Fully Redeemed by His Blood

It has been a few years since I last wrote a post. You could say I was Spirit-led to my old blog - perhaps to recall the negativity, nonchalance, and frustrations of my teenage years, which I now find difficult to remember.  Why can't I remember them despite having written many posts about my emotions, as a way to process them? Because I have been redeemed by God. For the past 2 years, God worked in me and brought me out of my misery, a misery I thought would never get out of.  Today - about 3, 4 years since my last update - I write to share that my life has changed for the better. In fact, it is fantastic.  I can now breathe.  I laugh freely with much less fear of what is to come.  I have hope. I have dreams. I am no longer lonely. I am feeling more complete than ever with God.  It sounds too good to be true. But IT IS. It is what it is. It's too good, but it's true.  If you're having doubts, I understand you. I used to be a skeptic. I hated Christian...

The INFP Diary: Chapter 3 - Coming home: A love story

She just came home, tired yet satisfied from an annual get-together with her friends back in secondary school. It's always great meeting old friends, she thought. Meeting them is akin to returning home. It is so effortless and comfortable, everything just feels right, while it lasted at least. Still, all good things come to an end. It was time to say good bye, and head home. It was a great night, she thought. How much she has missed them. When everyone moves on in life and walk their separate paths, it's hard to keep in contact. That's right, it felt like returning home.   As minutes go, the feeling of emptiness began mounting, a little at a time. She shrugged it off. Must be how I'll miss seeing my friends, after all it's only once a year, she thought. Yet with every step she took, her heart grew heavier. Back at home, the void in her took root. Something was on her mind. Still, she tried to shrug it off Resorting to arranging music score...

Arslan Senki is one badass anime

Spring 2015 anime has already been ongoing for awhile, and I've been watching these titles: Owari no Seraph Nisekoi S2 Shokugeki no Soma Arslan Senki Plastic Memories Ore Monogatari Out of all of these, I would have to say that Arslan Senki is my favourite!  Ok with as little spoilers as possible... Arslan is the prince and apparent heir of the throne in the undefeated Kingdom of Pars. His father, King Andragoras, is the king known to have led his army to victory at every war, making his army formidable and seemingly without equal. But of course, going undefeated makes the kingdom and the king full of themselves and eventually led to a crushing defeat in the war against Lusitania. The king is nowhere to be found and the kingdom of Pars is just about to be invaded by the swarming armies of Lusitania.  Also, a little of backdrop, Lusitania is a country which believes in a god (forgot the name) and abhors the idea of slavery. Their religion speaks of ...

The INFP Diary: Chapter 2

So tonight on my way back from work, I guess I was tired and wanted to stare into space for awhile. But not really that kinda stare into space. It's those kind of daydreaming in which you are still aware of your surroundings. In fact, you notice the surroundings more.   On the train, I was staring out the window. With my earphones on, I was essentially in my own world. As the train trailed past buildings, I found myself marvelling at the beauty of 'sceneries' created by buildings and the lights they each bear. That moment, I was reminded of Final Fantasy X and the Zanarkand cut scenes. and then suddenly I realised how good Square Enix's graphics are to resemble reality so much.   The same was happening while I was taking the bus back. I guess we never really took a good look at our surroundings because we are all so tired and so absorbed into whatever we are doing. It's through daydreaming that I can tell that I'm finally relaxing. Usually I am stre...

The INFP Diary: Chapter 1

From now on, I will blog about days where I feel like my INFP traits really show  If any of you do not know what an INFP is, please take a look here:  http://www.16personalities.com/infp-personality In a nutshell, we are the true idealists. We believe in helping people, but despair in our ability (or lack thereof) to do so. We genuinely wish for world peace (although we know it isn't realistic) and we stick stubbornly by our morals and principles.  We can be creative as well. I guess what really makes us tick is when someone's actions isn't aligned with our principles? Especially those really important morals and values. Let me explain... Ok, so one thing is that this customer was really friendly and we talked a lot whilst she was shopping and she asked for my number. and well I was just thinking "oh ok why not, another friend." although I can't really make friends and I was actually surprised (in a good way) she wanted to be my friend. So I thought...

Realising my dream

So I'm back to blogging after so long!  It's 2015 and I've graduated from JC, what's up next is getting my results and entering uni. I'm not sure what to feel, but I do feel excited for uni, especially if I get to study the stuff that I love! I've decided to restart this blog for a few reasons. Firstly, I want to put some of my thoughts out there. Sometimes I feel like I have so many ideas in my head but no one to communicate it with. Yknow, so if there are people actually reading my posts... I just put my thoughts out here assuming people will read it. Anonymously.  Secondly, this is like my online diary. Things that aren't too sensitive or too personal to me I guess I could put it out here just to record down things in my life that I wish to remember a few years down the road. I mean I could always come back and read my old posts! And thus, you could say that I've started on a clean slate. I have removed hundreds of posts which I deeme...

Contradictions

Finally, a ranting post. Well, but first, let me update about my boring, non-existent life. School's been really hectic, busy, crazy, insane, a frenzy. There's no time for anything else other than for work. It's like work is unlimited. Homework -> Study for test -> PW -> Study for Promos Wait... I haven't even made it to stage 4 yet. It's like after PW the route detours back to stage 1.  My life, as of now, is pathetic. The last time I turned on my TV was like, at least 2-3 months ago -_- But yup, hope I can do well for promos though. Now, back to ranting. I think society is full of contradictions. The same kind of people that gives us advice on what we should do with our lives... they all mean well but sometimes I feel that some of their advice are illogical. Really. I bet a lot of us have been criticised of not being hungry enough for success. We don't aim to be the best. We just want to pass, be average, and we are co...

Lament

Alas, I'm back to rant about my hazy thoughts again. I feel that writing/typing my thoughts out helps me establish them better. Sooo recently I've been feeling so aimless. Like literally. In the past I've so many dreams and passions and I had so many careers in mind. As if a flower that once bloomed, now it has all wilted away. Let's establish a timeline. 1) Artist. As a child, that was my very first dream. I was enrolled in Art classes and even though I could say that my drawings really sucked now that I look at them, I was always happy doing crafts and drawing random stuff. Colouring painting and drawing things around me, or things that never exists, fulfills me. I was also very interested in art classes in school. I always wanted to get an A. I remember the time when I was selected to go to the Art Museum and look at Picasso's and Van Gogh's art works. At that point in time I couldn't really appreciate them, considering how dense I was....

I Just Ride

I was in the winter of my life and the men I met along the road were my only summer At night, I fell asleep with visions of myself dancing, laughing and crying with them. Three years down the line of being on an endless world tour, and my memories of them were the only things that sustained me, and my only real happy times. I was a singer, not a very popular one. I once had dreams of becoming a beautiful poet, but upon an unfortunate series of events saw those dreams dashed and divided like a million stars in the night sky that I wished on over and over again, sparkling and broken. But I really didn't mind because I knew that it takes getting everything you ever wanted and then losing it to know what true freedom is.  When the people I used to know found out what I had been doing, how I had been living, they asked me ‘why.’ But there’s no use in talking to people who have a home, they have no idea what it’s like to seek safety in other people , for home to be wherever you ...

happy birthday

I don't know where you are in this world You said you would be back in a month You obviously didn't keep your word. When are you coming back? I sort of hate you for leaving us behind Kinda wondering what u are doing right now Where the hell are you? Knowing you, I earnestly hope you don't get into trouble You're freaking gone I admit there are days when I don't even think of you. There are days I come home and everything feels fine Actually, everyday is fine However, this does not mean that I do not miss you Sometimes I think about the fun we had Sometimes I think about how we always fought How you would always lie and acted as a saint too.  You must think we hate you You must think everyone do We don't call, sms or talk to you You must think you are better off gone Well, you are partially wrong I don't hate you but I don't miss you that much Life IS better without you here Things are so much simpl...

another day

OKIE HELLO EVERYONE. So 2013 has started and this is my first post of the year! It's too late to wish people happy new year haha This year I'm gonna stop making NYResolutions. i think it's impossible for me to ever accomplish some of them and  i guess some of them are just unrealistic, or merely expectations of myself.  speaking of expectations, sometimes i don't like people to expect things out of me. like, we personally have our own expectations of ourselves. and usually we accomplish our own expectations. but then, people have greater expectations of us, a lot greater than our expectations. this is when things get warped.  Because people have expectations of us, we somehow infuse their expectations into our expectations. it's like we don't want to disappoint ourselves, nor other people. Give you an example: you expect yourself to get distinction for a subject. you work hard for it. yes u get it. u get an A2 and you're happy....
