The INFP Diary: Chapter 2

So tonight on my way back from work, I guess I was tired and wanted to stare into space for awhile. But not really that kinda stare into space. It's those kind of daydreaming in which you are still aware of your surroundings. In fact, you notice the surroundings more.   On the train, I was staring out the window. With my earphones on, I was essentially in my own world. As the train trailed past buildings, I found myself marvelling at the beauty of 'sceneries' created by buildings and the lights they each bear. That moment, I was reminded of Final Fantasy X and the Zanarkand cut scenes. and then suddenly I realised how good Square Enix's graphics are to resemble reality so much.   The same was happening while I was taking the bus back. I guess we never really took a good look at our surroundings because we are all so tired and so absorbed into whatever we are doing. It's through daydreaming that I can tell that I'm finally relaxing. Usually I am stre...

Contradictions

Finally, a ranting post. Well, but first, let me update about my boring, non-existent life. School's been really hectic, busy, crazy, insane, a frenzy. There's no time for anything else other than for work. It's like work is unlimited. Homework -> Study for test -> PW -> Study for Promos Wait... I haven't even made it to stage 4 yet. It's like after PW the route detours back to stage 1.  My life, as of now, is pathetic. The last time I turned on my TV was like, at least 2-3 months ago -_- But yup, hope I can do well for promos though. Now, back to ranting. I think society is full of contradictions. The same kind of people that gives us advice on what we should do with our lives... they all mean well but sometimes I feel that some of their advice are illogical. Really. I bet a lot of us have been criticised of not being hungry enough for success. We don't aim to be the best. We just want to pass, be average, and we are co...

Lament

Alas, I'm back to rant about my hazy thoughts again. I feel that writing/typing my thoughts out helps me establish them better. Sooo recently I've been feeling so aimless. Like literally. In the past I've so many dreams and passions and I had so many careers in mind. As if a flower that once bloomed, now it has all wilted away. Let's establish a timeline. 1) Artist. As a child, that was my very first dream. I was enrolled in Art classes and even though I could say that my drawings really sucked now that I look at them, I was always happy doing crafts and drawing random stuff. Colouring painting and drawing things around me, or things that never exists, fulfills me. I was also very interested in art classes in school. I always wanted to get an A. I remember the time when I was selected to go to the Art Museum and look at Picasso's and Van Gogh's art works. At that point in time I couldn't really appreciate them, considering how dense I was....

Valentine's Day: Love yourself

I'm sorry that I've been neglecting my blog for 2 weeks(?) Been really busy and since now the season has ended, I think I can spare more time for my social life LOL. Yup season ended but we played well. Me: "Mr Chan, we last year win 1 then this year win 2 leh." Mr Chan: "Eh not bad what 100% improvement! " HAHA! So cute! But it's true we really improved a lot. When I'm pitching and I hear their coaches asking their batters to stand nearer to the catcher... OH THE JOY. it just means I'm pitching fast ok HAHAHA! No regrets this year. We played our best and AHSoftball will be the best CCA I ever joined in my life! We need to have the team photos uploaded man. Okay anyway school has been quite hectic. There's a lot of things to be done and prelim 1 is gonna start in 5-6 weeks wts! Obviously there isn't any time for me to be blogging but I really feel tired of school work. We can't be doing the same shit ever...

Dilemma

I need to ask something. How do you know when someone is selfish? When someone thinks of themselves and not think of others? I don't really understand. I've been thinking about it for the past 1 year but I can't really find an answer. Situation: If you ask your friend to do something for you, and your friend doesn't want to... You get angry. Is your friend selfish because he/she doesn't want to help? OR Are you selfish because you want someone to do something for you? Does anyone get what I'm trying to say? Because your friend can be selfish if he/she doesn't want to take his/her time off to help you. Your friend can be self-centered OR you can be the selfish one because when other people are not doing what you request, you get angry. So in a way, you're just thinking for yourself. So now, who is the selfish one? I can't seem to find any answer. Some people may think it depends on what is the 'thing...

Punishment - another (intended) form of motivation?

Have any of you felt it was unfair, That you did your best in a test, Yet you got shitty marks (or so they say) And your parents force you to do more work, As punishment? Have you ever felt it was unfair, If you were doing your best, But just couldn't perform well, And people tell you, " If you're not gonna do well, I'm gonna confiscate your ____ (insert word of choice)"? Question: Is Threat and Punishment, supposedly another form of motivation? Or, really just a form of entertainment for others? To see others in despair and frustrated? Edit:// It's 2015 and I'm clearing posts to restart my blog. I deleted the bottom part of this post haha but I shall leave the top here because I think it is an intriguing question. Perhaps when I'm free I will come back and edit this section :)
